Este post vai ser longo e não vai ter bonecos, tenham paciência. Ao ouvir o Future Feminism do Antony, lembrei-me de um texto que descobri em versão inglesa (não sei se existe tradução portuguesa) com o título Thunder: Perfect Mind.
Nag Hammadi é uma aldeia do Egito onde foi descoberto em 1945 um conjunto de textos gnósticos do cristianismo primitivo escritos em copta. Entre eles estava este. Não me interessa a sua relação com a religião ou a confirmação, uma vez mais, de que os textos base do cristianismo são uma espécie de Reader's Digest escolhido na alta Idade Média, de entre um mundo de caminhos possíveis. Até porque o Dan Brown ainda lança a sua sombra desinteressante sobre o tema.
Interessa-me sim que uma voz feminina e tão antiga, em forma de poema, consiga percorrer temas do social ao político, do sexual ao familiar, com uma força inegável. Se não tivesse andado a descobrir estas coisas, julgaria estar perante uma qualquer modernista obscura do princípio do século XX, um Walt Whitman ou Hart Crane no feminino. E sim, assumindo essa voz feminina, há aqui uma espécie de feminismo radical com dois mil anos de idade. É ler.

For many are the pleasant forms which exist in numerous sins, and incontinencies, and disgraceful passions, and fleeting pleasures, which (men) embrace until they become sober and go up to their resting-place. And they will find me there, and they will live, and they will not die again.
